La cultura italiana dal Novecento al nuovo millennio
2020
Mondadori
To mark its 110th anniversary of operations in Italy, Confindustria has decided to publish a comprehensive volume showcasing its commitment across all sectors of Italian industry.
The book features 21 essays written by prominent figures in Italian culture, accompanied by an extensive collection of images. The topics, which cover the full range of 20th-century industrial and cultural output, range from cinema to medicine, from physics to cuisine.
The page layout was designed to accommodate images of various types, from the largest and most spectacular to small historical images.

The softcover design plays on the contrast between the underlying canvas-textured section—which is entirely typographic—and the short dust jacket made of glossy paper, which features a famous painting by Boccioni chosen to represent Italy’s growth in the 20th century.
