100% Alba—Ceretto/Crippa
2014
Mondadori
100% Alba — Ceretto / Crippa is a book that explores the Alba region, its products, and its historical, social, and cultural riches, which are deeply intertwined with the history of the Ceretto family (long-standing winemakers) and the culinary innovation brought by Enrico Crippa (three Michelin stars).
For this book, which unfolds like a long alphabet book, an open and versatile layout was designed to accommodate images and texts that are very different from one another. Color is a dominant element in the design, emphasizing the vibrancy of the region and the people who live there.

The alphabetical order of the entries is punctuated by the design of the initials: each is conceived as a rosette composed of typographic elements and decorative motifs.
The letter motif culminates in the cover design, where the wealth of products, stories, and excellence is represented by the multitude of symbols that burst forth and swirl around the center—100% Alba—forming the rose window reproduced in silkscreen.
