La città immaginata — Laboratori di futuro is an initiative aimed at residents and organizations in the Arona area. The main goal is to create a shared vision of the future by defining long-term strategies to promote cultural change and enhance local resources through collaboration among associations, the third sector, public agencies, and citizens.
This vision of the future is represented by surreal images that suggest the infinite possibilities of the imagination. The keywords guiding the design are enclosed in colorful speech bubbles that envelop and complement the images. This visual narrative thus becomes a metaphor that directs our gaze toward a possible utopia.
In addition to the printed materials supporting the associations’ work and the billboards throughout the area, a broad social media campaign was launched, which succeeded in piquing the public’s curiosity and then engaging them in a project of collective construction and vision.
