Aviotecnica is a leading company specializing in the production of complex parts and components for helicopters. The spatial visual identity project combines the narrative of the industrial process with the wayfinding system.
The signage system extends throughout the entire facility and is based on the formal concept of the fold, a clear aesthetic reference to precision metalworking and sheet metal bending.
The physical supports for the nameplates and signs incorporate a geometric fold into their profiles, creating volume and clean shadows.
The concept of the fold is paired with a complete system of icons, designed using broken and geometric lines consistent with the signage’s style.
The signage is enhanced by line drawings that depict the action or tool associated with each department.
